Viaduct Fire Ltd is an electrical contractor focused specifically on fire and security systems — fire alarms and fire safety, fire extinguishers, CCTV, intruder alarms, emergency lighting and access control. Not a general electrician who also does alarms on the side — this is the whole business.
Every job starts the same way: a proper site survey, a system specified to suit the actual building rather than a standard package, and installation carried out to the standard that governs that system — BS 5839-1 for fire detection and alarm in non-domestic premises (BS 5839-6 in domestic ones), BS 5266-1 for emergency lighting, PD 6662 and the BS EN 50131 series for intruder alarms, and BS 7273-4 where the fire alarm has to release doors held shut by locks or access control.
Every installation is backed by proper documentation from day one — zone plans, as-wired drawings, compliance certificates — not handed over and forgotten. That's the standard the business is built on, whether it's job number one or job number one hundred.
