Sprinkler Monitoring
Electrical monitoring and alarm interfacing for wet and dry sprinkler installations — flow, tamper and pressure switches wired into your fire detection panel, so a sprinkler activation is never a silent event. Based in Stockport, covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the Peak District, with sites nationwide.
The pipework and heads are installed by a specialist sprinkler contractor, to BS EN 12845 or the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations. We handle the electrical side: monitoring that installation and interfacing it into your fire alarm system, so activity in the sprinkler system generates an alarm signal.
That means flow switches, tamper (valve position) switches and pressure switches wired back to a monitoring interface, coordinated with your fire alarm panel to BS 5839‑1, with remote signalling to an Alarm Receiving Centre set up where the building needs it.
We're based in Stockport and cover sprinkler monitoring work across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the Peak District, with sites further afield across the UK.
BS EN 12845 / LPC Rules
Under BS EN 12845 and the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations, a sprinkler activation has to generate an alarm signal — we specify and wire the flow, tamper and pressure switch interface into your fire alarm panel so that signal actually reaches someone.
